Bob Dylan: Together Through Life

Dylan is always changing.

But as the world reinvents itself in these re-orienting times, Together Through Life’s neighborhood cappuccino club warmth instead offers shelter from the storm. It’s a tonic whose pace is moderate, music is organic, lyrics are intelligent, and feel is refreshingly human. At first listen, its’ an easy listen of common bluesy riffs, but by the 3rd and forth listen you are hooked with the whimsical lyrics and attitude of Dylans ever changing voice. I dig the song My Wife’s Home Town, cracks me up everytime, it’s humourus and fun, something that sometimes is missing from todays music scene. Now if you are not a Dylan fan, this is probably not for you, you might want to go get your ipod out a listen to some Justin Timberlake and get your groove going—I’m sure Justin will stand the test of time.
